SWING 2.0 consortium is proud to announce the publication of the SWING 2.0 video dictionaries, an innovative and free e-learning platform reach of innovative learning materials.
The SWING 2.0 project is dedicated to facilitating the acquisition and use of basic sign language in different work environments, to enhance the integration of the deaf community. SWING 2.0 project partners developed 5000 videos with professional sign translators in 5 sign languages: Italian, Spanish, German, Austrian and International).
These videos were created with clear common instructions and revised by the output leader, providing an open space to consult each one of 100 selected words in 5 sectors/job positions.
This output will have an impact on VET teachers, Trainers or mentors in supporting people with hearing problems; hearing people working in clue job positions related with public administration, health sector, restaurant/bar, sell articles, travel/city tours; hearing-impaired and deaf people to acquire the vocabulary typical of certain services in important sectors; and researchers and developers in the field of disabilities to carry out themselves new sign language dictionaries for new areas.
